SKYE + KATE
We adore The Young Folk Collective. A baby label that sells the most beautiful handwoven Moses Baskets. Made from eco friendly, sustainable elephant grass. Handwoven in Ghana, Africa. Skye and Kate are the Babes Behind the Brand. They provide their weavers with fair pay and an income for themselves and their villages. They fell in love with the baskets and the weavers stories. And just knew that they had to work with them. And so The Young Folk Collective began. We can not wait to see what is next as they plan to add more products. With the core value of helping people. And the planet.

SKYE. My parents, still so in love after 33 years of marriage. I hope to follow in their parenting footsteps with my children.
KATE. My friends to be honest, all of them being such amazing Mums and Dads. I look up to so many of them.
WORD THAT MAKES YOU LAUGH.
Pop off, for some reason we feel silly saying it, haha.
WORD THAT MAKES YOU CRINGE.
The infamous, moist.
Mean people, there is just no need.
SKYE. Birds, especially the swooping kind!
KATE. That I'm not living my life to the fullest.
We love time off with family and friends, that feeling of freedom to just have fun, relax and enjoy ourselves.
SKYE. Negativity, always look at the bright side of life!
KATE. Being reigned in by a schedule, I'm more of a go with the flow kind of girl.
BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN.
SKYE. If you're not happy with something, make a change - nothing changes if everything stays the same.
KATE. This is a bit corny but my dad told me to 'reach for the moon and if you miss you will end up in the stars', I like the sentiment behind it.
